Our Prevention is Key staff joined community partners at the Morris County International Overdose Awareness Day event to honor and remember every life lost to addiction and fentanyl poisoning. We stand in support of the families and loved ones who carry these losses every day.

We were also honored to have the opportunity to meet Senator Anthony M. Bucco and connect with others committed to building a stronger, more compassionate community.

Together, we remember. Together, we support. Together, we continue to raise awareness and inspire hope.

The Passaic Recovery Support Services and Passaic Hope One team were honored to host this meaningful event in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day. Family members, friends, community partners, and supporters gathered together to remember, celebrate, and honor the lives of those lost to substance-related causes.

As the names of loved ones were spoken aloud, butterflies took flight, each one serving as a powerful symbol of love, remembrance, hope, and the enduring impact these individuals had on the lives of those around them. In those quiet moments, we stood together in grief, reflection, and solidarity, reminding one another that every life matters, and every story deserves to be remembered.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring those we have lost and in supporting those who continue their journey of recovery. Together, we keep their memories alive, reduce stigma, and strengthen our commitment to building a community grounded in compassion, connection, and hope. 🦋
