30 years of providing life-changing, research-validated early intervention, family support and nursery programs to NJ infants and toddlers with hearing loss.

501(c)3 nonprofit powered by philanthropy! Sound Start Babies Program helps babies with hearing loss through home visits, telehealth services, full-day school programs and family support and education. State funding does not cover the costs

for these services until a baby reaches age 3 -- after the critical window of brain development has passed -- so the Sound Start Foundation fundraises to fill this gap.

This year we celebrate 3 decades of early intervention for children with hearing loss. Because of you, we’ve been able to support over 2,000 families and meet the growing demand year after year. Sound Start Babies provide services in all 21 counties, including parts of central and southern NJ that previously lacked access.

State funding covers less than 1/3 of the cost to run our programs which means we truly couldn’t do it without you. We owe another round of applause to each and every one of you. 👏 👏

More than 300 people celebrated on Wednesday night and dozens more showed their support in other ways. Together, we raised over $400,000 for Sound Start Babies' life-changing early intervention and family support programs.
