The Rockaway Township chapter of UNICO held another successful motorcycle run last weekend. Even with the weather conditions we had a good turnout to raise funds for St. Jude’s. Thank you to the Rockaway Township PD and DPW, the Blue Kights, and the Morris County Sheriff’s Motorcycle Units for supporting the riders. Thank you to Panera and Crumble Cookies in the Rockaway Mall for providing delicious food and coffee. Special thanks to the vendors and individuals who donated items for our door prizes. We appreciate everyone’s support!

Great night celebrating our Italian-American heritage by watching a movie about Frances Xavier Cabrini. Also known as Mother Cabrini, she was a prominent Italian-American religious sister in the Catholic Church. She was the first American to be recognized by the Catholic Church as a Saint.

Last night we were joined by UNICO National Vice President Frank LoRe at the Rockaway Township council meeting. We were honored to present a $14,000 donation to the Rockaway Township Substance Abuse Alliance - a great local organization. The donation was the net proceeds from our Dan Bell Citizenship dinner. Thank you to all of our supporters and thank you Frank for joining us!
