June means summer break for many of ICAN's education partners and it means some staff development and fun for the ICAN team.
We took in a Cedar Rapids Kernels game last week for team bonding and fun in the sun.

Calling all Iowa City residents interested in a skilled construction career! The University of Iowa Labor Center Fall 2026 Quality Pre-Apprenticeship Program is just around the corner! The next 5-week course takes place from September 10 – October 15, 2026. Classes will meet from 5pm-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8:30am-4:30pm on Saturdays in Iowa City. The program is open to all Iowa City residents who want to enter a skilled trades career, with a focus on high school seniors and adults.
