It offers educational programs (from permaculture to self-care, holistic to spirituality), retreats, overnight stays in the Guest House or Hermitages, and holistic services like massage and reflexology. Prairiewoods' meeting rooms are available for rent. We also have a free lending

This week, members of the Prairiewoods team joined sisters, affiliates and partners in mission from across the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration community for the FSPA Mission Assembly.

Gathered around the theme “Hope in Uncertainty: What Is Ours to Do?”, we spent time reflecting, listening, learning, and discerning together. In a world that often feels uncertain, we found inspiration in the Franciscan values of love, joy, and hospitality.

In times of uncertainty, singing together can help us find strength, connection, and hope. 🎶

Join us this Saturday, June 6th from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. for a Singing Resistance Song Circle at Prairiewoods. Led by local songleaders, this 90-minute gathering will use songs from the Singing Resistance Songbook to help participants process current events, build community, and connect through music.

No singing experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. Whether you're looking for inspiration, solidarity, or simply a chance to sing with others, there's a place for you in the circle.

Our Inipi Sweat Lodge at Prairiewoods has been rebuilt and is ready to welcome people again!

A heartfelt thank-you to Rodney, Aaron, and Kerry for their help bringing this sacred space back to life over the past few days. The first ceremony in the new lodge will take place this summer, and we look forward to gathering together for prayer, purification, and connection.

We hope to see many familiar faces there as we begin this new chapter.
