While mom gets to shop our boutique racks completely stress-free, these sweet kiddos are right where they belong: playing, snacking, and just being kids. 🧸✨

When a family comes to FFAN, we want the experience to feel like a breath of fresh air. Caregivers don't have to worry about entertaining tired, anxious toddlers while trying to gather clothes, diapers, and essentials. They can take their time, grab a coffee, and shop with total peace of mind knowing their little ones are safe, happy, and having a blast in our play area.

These candid moments are what make our 3,000-square-foot facility so much more than a donation space—it's a sanctuary for the family. 💙

Physical donations fill our shelves with toys, clothes, and shoes, but monthly operational gifts are what keep this safe haven lit, cooled, staffed, and open 38 hours a week.

If photos like these bring a smile to your face, consider tossing a few dollars into the tank today to keep this space free, accessible, and welcoming for the next family who walks through our doors!

Two Immediate Needs + A Way to Fuel Our Mission Long-Term!

Friends, we have two local families in need of assistance right now:

Family 1: In need of a working dryer.

Family 2: In need of a dresser.

If you have a gently used dryer or dresser you’d be willing to donate to either of these families, please send us a PM so we can coordinate!

Want to help us meet needs like this every single month?

Direct item donations are vital, but having steady operational support is what allows us to keep our doors open and respond to urgent requests every single day.

We’ve recently revised our link for recurring monthly donations. By becoming a monthly donor, you provide the baseline support that keeps our center stocked, staffed, and ready whenever a foster, kinship, or adoptive family reaches out for help.

If you’re able to partner with us on a monthly basis, please visit our donation page here:

https://givebutter.com/FFANDonations

Thank you all for being the hands and feet of our community! ❤️

Good evening FFAN friends!!!

Happy Birthday to me!!! 🎈🎈🎈

Trivia... Did you know that whatever birthday you are celebrating is the completion of that year... For example... I "turned" 52 today... But in actuality, I completed 52 years today and am starting year 53!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Here is what I want for my birthday...

- FFAN is trying to get to 10k follows by the end of the year... Will you please share something about us on your page with your friends... Not just a blank share... A share about how great we are for the community and how our mission is driven by the amount of people we have in our town (no longer a village!) so share, write out a sentence or two, and wish me a happy birthday below. 🤪

On top of that... We still need your help. A 3,000 square foot, fully stocked, fully staffed center helping foster families across Middle Tennessee is something you just don't see everywhere else... Less than 40 exist in the entire country.

We are important to our community, our kiddos, our families in need, and we need your help to continue our mission. There is no beating around the bush today... We need continued monetary assistance to keep our building open. Your help is desperately needed, and awesomely appreciated. Here are the options below...

Venmo = -network
PayPal = [email protected]
Cash/check = 13 Industrial Park Dr suite 100 Hendersonville TN 4/37075.

We also have a very wonderful donation partner link in the comments below.

Thank you all for the support and I look forward to all the happy birthdays! 🤪

Good evening, FFAN friends...

First off, thank you so much for all the response we received for our kiddos in need... the assistance was fantastic and much appreciated... 💙

Tonight...

When my wife and I first stepped into foster care, we had what I still consider the best-case scenario possible. We had a church. We had family. We had friends. We had a real village.

And yet, when our kiddos arrived, it still took us weeks of chasing items, setting up pickups, making appointments, and driving all over town just to get what we needed. It was exhausting.
That experience left me asking a simple question: Why should it take so much effort to get basic supplies when a child enters your home?

Middle Tennessee has roughly 4,000 churches and over 12,000 non-profits. There is no shortage of generosity in our region. But when crisis hits, families shouldn't have to piece together help from ten different places.

FFAN is the answer.

Instead of asking every church to build its own basement "foster closet"—or waiting on state government to create a system that rarely works—we pioneered a brand-new mold.

One place. One infrastructure. One centralized hub.

We built a 3,000-square-foot resource center where foster, kinship, and adoptive families can walk through the door and get what they need. No paperwork. No appointments. No stress. No guilt.

Churches send their families to us. The state sends their families to us. Other non-profits send their families to us. Why? Because we built a full-time, open-door model that exists in fewer than 40 places nationwide.

We’ve already served thousands of children, but keeping this central hub open, staffed, and accessible takes consistent community support.

Will you, your business, your church group, or your family chip in to keep these doors unlocked for the next child who needs us? Help us, help our kiddos.

Good evening FFAN friends.

I apologize for the late post... The last few weeks we have been inundated with needs requests for kiddos in our communities. We have been able to take care of a bunch of them for the most part, but we have hit a tipping point tonight as we have had 7 additional requests for various families today.

I am listing the general needs below, I am listing our Amazon link in the comments section, and I am asking for any additional assistance you feel compelled to give so we may take care of some of the more personal and outlying items.

- Twin mattresses - 6 of them. The best option are the ones on our amazon list... They come in a box and are easily transported.
- We now need two bunk beds. I'm sure I have missed a few options over the past few weeks that have been offered as we did not immediately need them. They are incredibly hard to transport and store.
- We need boys underwear... Size 6/7 and 10/12.
- Lil critters fiber gummies for a little kiddo struggling...

I can't stress enough how bad it is getting here at the start of the school year. There are too many families and kiddos in desperate need. You can't turn on the TV and see what is happening... It's not as easy as that. But it is there. There are so many kiddos and families that are being broken apart weekly, and just trying to hold on. We appreciate every single item and every single dollar of support. I promise it makes a difference... Even if we can't see it or show it on social media or the TV.

If you choose to support us monetarily, we do get to purchase items tax free which honestly adds up to a substantial amount of savings per year. The options to do so are below:

Venmo = -network
PayPal = [email protected]
Cash/check = 13 Industrial Park Dr suite 100 Hendersonville TN 37075.

And of course I'll put a donation link in the comments as well as the Amazon list.

Thank you my friends...

Good evening FFAN friends!!!

Yesterday, over 2,700 of you stopped to view our post about the neighbor who stepped up to care for a teen in crisis. You shared it 11 times and dropped 35+ likes. Your empathy means the world to us—it shows how deeply this community cares.

But here is a candid peek behind the scenes: those 2,700 views raised $0 toward keeping our doors unlocked.

We don't share that reality to be rude or ungrateful; on the contrary, we share it because it highlights something amazing. It highlights that we actually have just what we need to keep our center running... Thousands of concerned community members who care about our kiddos in care! (But if you have a couple millionaire friends out there looking to part ways with their money, we won't say no to that support either! 🤣)

If every single person who took a look at yesterday's post gave $2, or if half of our page followers (8,600 +) gave just $1, our building’s rent and utilities for next month would be completely paid for in full.

Likes help us reach people, but a couple of dollar gifts keep the lights on, the air running, and the doors open for the next neighbor who calls needing help for a kiddo.

If you smiled at yesterday’s story, would you consider heading over to Venmo (-network) and chipping in a couple of bucks today to help us stay ready to serve?

Good morning FFAN friends...

A local neighbor down the street opened her door to a teenager in crisis recently. No state stipend. No formal paperwork. Just a heart for a kiddo that said "yes."

When she reached out asking for help, we didn't ask her to fill out weeks of forms or wait for an appointment. Our doors were open and we invited her and her "new" kiddo in to visit our resource center for the items he needed - at no cost to her.

Here is what she sent us after her visit:

"I wanted to reach out and say thank you again so very much! I was able to come in yesterday and get him a few nice outfits so thank you thank you again!! If you happen to come across any shoes, feel free to reach out snd im sure i could swing by if needed. Thank you thank you💕"

THIS is why our 3,000 sq. ft. building matters.
Without a physical center open 38 hours a week with full-time staff, neighbors like her have nowhere to turn when a crisis happens on a random "Tuesday".

Physical donations fill our clothing racks, but your operational gifts keep our doors open for the next caregiver who steps up. Having a safe village to come to for support and needs is a giant piece of the puzzle. Assistance at no stress or cost makes a difference for our kiddos.

Please help us secure our facility for the months ahead. We are seeing a drastic increase in needs this year, and our building means more than ever.

Good evening FFAN friends and happy start to your weekend! 🎉🎉

Out of over 1,000 foster care "closets" in the U.S., fewer than 40 operate a full-time, retail-style boutique with a refuge space.

In 2016, we set out to prove that foster families deserved a full-scale storefront, free hospitality, and 38 hours a week of open-door support—not an appointment-only closet in a basement.

A decade later, this innovative pioneering model is still going strong, but keeping a 3,000-square-foot refuge open takes consistent community backing.

Physical donations fill our racks, but operational dollars keep the doors open for the over 1,000 kiddos a year we provide for.

Please Help us secure our facility for the months ahead...
