Good morning FFAN friends!

Please take a look at the photos ... Some of our areas are completely empty or on their last items...

💵 - $1,250 dollars is the average cost to a family in the first month of care before any support comes through.

If the family is "kinship" or "shadow" care, there simply won't be any support at all in most cases.

This is why FFAN is here. Our mission alleviates some of the tangible item gaps that exist for kiddos in ALL of our communities.

🧨🧨 - Please take a look at our basic items list in the comments section... Personal care items... Literally we need as many as possible. Especially for young ladies. Wipes for babies... We are completely out.

These are basic items for families... We all know kiddos show up with what's on their backs in most cases... That includes no toiletries, no socks, no underwear, no hygiene items.

Good morning FFAN friends!!

We have a few needs today that are pressing... These are for specific families in need...

- We have a family with several foster kiddos whose washer has gone out. If there is a used one out there that is in good condition and you can part with, please let me know.

- We have a family that needs a toddler bed for an additional kiddo that has come into their care in the last few days. Again, a good quality used one is completely great.

- We are still in need of bikes. Great condition... Not in need of "maintenance".

- Toiletries for teen girls... Lotions, hair care, deodorant, etc...

Our list is posted in the comments if you wouldn't mind taking a look...

However, if you would like to support our efforts with funds, we would appreciate that support as well... Here are some options...

Good morning FFAN friends!!!

Today, may 31st, from 12:30pm - 3:00pm at the Cantare at Indian lake village, 120 cinema drive in Hendersonville, there will be a lemonade stand set up by a life group of young kiddos (supervised of course) selling lemonade!

ALL proceeds from today's sales will be donated to FFAN!

It isn't about any kind of money though my friends! This is about young kiddos getting involved in their community... We are just super excited to be able to be a part of building a foundation of community service in our youth.

If you have a moment, drive by, support their drive, and enjoy some lemonade!!!

Good morning!

I want to share a couple updates!

We received a bunch of items off our list from the community. Thank you so much for that support! One young teen is going to receive the requested laptop as well... 💙

🚲 - Over the next 3 days, we would love to have some bikes come in. We only have a couple at this point, and it definitely is that time of year...

🛏️ The mattresses in the boxes are also much needed. Those can be ordered off of our list in the comments section of the original post.

Good morning FFAN friends.

We are in dire need of some items in our resource center.

🧦 - Socks and underwear. ***See photo*** we need to fill this wall and then some. These items are so hard to keep up with, but they are necessary.

👚 - Pajamas. Nearly out. Kiddos in care struggle to sleep, struggle with different types of fabrics, etc. we need a wide variety to make sure we cover the bases.

🚲 - Bikes. School is getting out. Bikes, with helmets, in GREAT condition... We need them!!!

🛏️ - mattresses. We added two sizes of mattresses to our A - list. Foam and in a box. Perfect for us to store and move around.

- Side by side double stroller needed. In great condition and clean please.

💻 - We have a young man who has reached out to us in need of a laptop. I put one on our A - list specifically for him.

Our live list is in the first comment section. There are many items on it including the most needed currently.

Please take a look and help support our mission if you are able. We sell NOTHING and we are a 501c3 nonprofit.

Good morning FFAN friends!!!

We have a couple of announcements to make!!!

First... On Saturday, may 23rd, the resource center will be closed. If there are any needs over the holiday weekend, please reach out... We can and will still be there for you on a case by case basis.

Second... WE ARE holding our 4th annual FFAN Camp: Building Community Brick by Brick this summer. The dates are July 13th through the 17th. I will be posting the event, the sign up form, the volunteer form, and more info. Over the weekend.

I apologize for the delay in getting that posted...

I hope everyone has a safe weekend and gets a day or two off to spend with family and friends.
