Friends of Indian Lake Peninsula

Friends of Indian Lake Peninsula FOFILP was founded for the acquisition and conservation of land for the benefit of Hendersonville residents in Sumner County, Tennessee.

Help us with our first effort to protect 73 acres of farm land and conserve it for greenspace and a passive park! Friends of Indian Lake Peninsula is dedicated to acquiring and conserving land, and, in the discretion of the Board, other activities consistent with this goal, for the benefit of residents of Hendersonville, Tennessee.

We’re thrilled to share that construction will begin this week on the new accessible trail at Heritage Park!

This milestone marks an exciting step toward completing the wooded hill portion of the project, an important phase in preparing the land to be turned over to the City of Hendersonville for a future passive park that everyone can enjoy.

As work gets underway, we kindly ask you to refrain from entering the property during construction for safety reasons.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support in helping make Heritage Park a reality!
