Welcome aboard Mrs. Tina!
I am so excited to be joining the Peer Place family and look forward to getting to know each of you! I wanted to take a moment to share a little about myself and how God has led me on this journey.
In 1996, I joined the Army, where I served for two years and met my husband! We have a daughter, a son, and a wonderful daughter-in-law. Our family moved to Tennessee in 2005, and in December of that year, I found my passion working as a CDC Assistant at Beech Elementary School. I continued in that role when the CDC class relocated to Burrus Elementary in January 2016. Some of my Peer Place friends were actually students at Beech Elementary during those years, so it has been such a joy to reconnect with them!
Another important part of my journey began in 2008 when I came to faith in Jesus and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. My faith has continued to be an important part of my life, and I am grateful for the ways God has led me to new opportunities.
After resigning from Sumner County Schools in May 2026, I began substitute teaching with WEE in August and joined Peer Place as a substitute in September. I am so thankful for this opportunity and excited to see what God has in store!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, visiting the beach, hiking, and curling up with a good book.
I feel truly blessed to be part of Peer Place at FBCH and look forward to making new memories, building relationships, and sharing God’s love with our wonderful friends and families. I am so happy to be here!
With love and blessings,
Tina Grant
