Shabbat Service

10/16/2026

A little Torah with some good news to carry into Shabbat! Repair the World, a Jewish service organization, just reached one million acts of service, four years early. That’s tutoring, food pantries, park cleanups, wildfire relief. Their CEO put it simply: “The next million starts with the next one.”

Pirkei Avot teaches that “the world stands on three things: Torah, worship, and acts of lovingkindness” (1:2). In this week’s parashah, Noah saved the world by caring, one creature at a time, two by two.

When the headlines feel heavy, chesed is how we rebuild. What’s one act of kindness you could do here in Henderson this week? Shabbat shalom!
