Do you have any unowned, feral, or community cats in your neighborhood who need spay/neuter services? We can help!

LCHS is happy to work with our community members and cat caregivers to help to provide low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine resources to the unowned/feral cats in our community through our TNR clinics and we have a clinic coming up on Thursday, March 19th!

Not sure what TNR is? Well, TNR stands for Trap, Neuter, Return - the process of humanely trapping community/feral cats, providing them with vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries and ear-tipping, and then returning them to their living area. Not only is this process a more compassionate alternative to the outdated process of trapping and euthanizing, it has been proven to reduce the number of community cats in a neighborhood - it's a win-win for the cats and their human neighbors!

Here's what to know about our clinic on Thursday, March 19th:

🐱Drop-off for the clinic is Thursday, March 19th between 8-8:45am. When you arrive with the cats, text the clinic number (406-430-2118) to let us know you are here, how many cats you have, and what car you are in.

🐱The clinic is done on a first come, first serve basis - we will accept cats until our clinic is full!

🐱The cost is $25 per cat and includes the spay/neuter surgery, ear-tipping, and age appropriate vaccines (including FVRCP and rabies).

🐱All cats must be brought to the clinic in humane live traps for the safety of our staff and the cats - cats in carriers, wire crates, or anything other than live traps will not be accepted.

🐱Caregivers are responsible for trapping and transporting the cats - we provide the surgery!

🐱Cat pick-up is Friday, March 20th between 8:30-10am.

Have cats to TNR but need traps? We have traps available for rent! You can stop by during our open hours this week to pick them up!

If you are interested in learning more about our upcoming TNR clinic or ways you can help, please reach out to our Animal Services Manager at [email protected] or stop by to chat!
