The guest speaker at our bimonthly meeting was Darby Gaines, the Executive Director for the Child Safety Center, which will soon be opening a center in Heber Springs. We are grateful to know that the children of our community will have a local facility to assist their needs.

Tomorrow is the start of Heber's first full week back to school, but never stop learning! A few weeks ago, several of our members attended Rotary District 6150's Summer Seminar at Heber's own Red River Trout Dock Resort ! They've got a beautiful event space - so keep them in mind for your next one. Don't sleep on the option for some life lessons via fishing metaphors either, because the Goddard's have them!

We love when community moments come full circle! We invited the American Legion Post 64 - Heber Springs, AR to speak at a meeting. --> Learned about them taking on the Old Soldier's Reunion --> We joined the parade --> We came in 3rd (Probably because of Jeff Tuttle's super fun Tonka Truck!) Come see the Tonka Truck again on October 3rd at the Ozark Trail Festival Parade!

It was such a fun graduation season and such a honor to award 10 scholarships to area seniors! We're so proud of you, and so excited to see the places you'll go! Congrats to:
