Our Blood Institute is encouraging donors of all blood types to help keep the local blood supply strong as we approach the Labor Day holiday.

If you’re interested in donating, check out the information in the link below.

• Every blood type is needed. Whether donors are A, B, AB or O, every donation can make a difference for patients who rely on blood products every day.
• AB plasma donors are especially needed. AB plasma can be given to patients of any blood type, making these donations particularly important for patient care.

Our Blood Institute expects more than 700 blood donations to be missed over Labor Day. Find a donor center or mobile blood drive and help fill the gap.
