Tatum & Max competed in 6 events at 4-H this week and they did awesome! They even earned her best time on their barrels run. We marvel at Tatum’s confidence and joy this year! She & Max are doing so well together. If you’d like to donate to Tatum & Max, link is in bio.

It always warms are hearts to share adoption updates. We are proud to share how well Jolie is doing with Liberty’s sweet Mustang, Porter. Jolie adopted Porter months ago and she has been working with him consistently at her barn. She’s a beautiful horseman and makes it look easy. Of course, we know there are ups and downs and horsemanship definitely requires a commitment. Here’s to Jolie and friends like her for dedicating themselves to moving our worthy horses forward. Meet Rowan! He's ready for his forever home! Rowan is a cute, 2022 grade sorrel pony gelding with a big personality he is more go than woah packed into a small frame. He is spunky, curious, and full of character, making him a fun and engaging young horse for the right person. Rowan has a mind of his own and a playful nature that keeps things interesting. He stands well for both the farrier and veterinarian. Rowan is well cared for and fully up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and has had his teeth floated this year. On the ground, Rowan moves nicely off the lead, backs, pivots, and disengages his hips. Rowan has had several rides and he walks, trots, lopes, and backs. Rowan has gone on three trail rides and keeps a quiet mind. He enjoys desensitization work and will happily interact with tarps, flags, and other tools when encouraged, showing confidence and curiosity. Due to his size and stage of training, Rowan will need a smaller, confident handler if intended for riding. He would make an excellent prospect for an upcoming training project or a fun learning horse for someone looking to bring along a young pony with personality.

Big week for us at Liberty as we said farewell to one of our favorite sons. Maverick went home to be with his new Mom, Giselle and we are so happy for them both. They met a few months back and it was love right away! Luckily, Jason approved and they quickly made it official! We kept Mav at Liberty until Gisellle could find the perfect barn for them. Giselle is caring and compassionate and wants to take things slow with Mav. Maverick was rescued as a yearling off the Wind River Reservation and was a true standout from day 1, winning hearts from the beginning! We wish Mav and Giselle every happiness as they continue to build their partnership. Our next adoption day is July 25th but you’re welcome to reach out sooner to find your perfect partner. Meet ASHER, a striking 2022 gelding with a few rides under saddle. He will be featured this weekend at our ADOPTION EVENT and is listed at $2500. Here he is with Searra & Monty Roberts’ James Oliver demonstrating the Join Up Method and using Monty’s Dually Halter and long lines for the first time. Asher is a 2022 bay gelding who was rescued from a Texas auction. Now, he has a solid Liberty foundation and a promising future. He is currently in professional training and in the process of being saddle broke. Having a few rides under saddle taking a slow pace with Asher is progress. Asher is a naturally shy horse while being a little spooky and will do best with a confident, consistent handler who gives clear direction and asks direct questions. Asher has a lengthy running bred or English bred build and loves to bond with new people who do not make him feel less than. Asher loves baths and Alfalfa pellets are the only treat he accepts. With that type of guidance, he continues to make steady progress. He stands politely for the farrier and veterinarian, loads and hauls in a trailer, and is accustomed to routine handling. Asher is well maintained and fully up to date on teeth floating, hoof care, vaccinations, and deworming. This young gelding is an excellent prospect for someone looking to continue his training and develop him in the discipline of their choice. Sound, healthy, and started correctly, Asher is ready to move forward with the right program. Come give ASHER a terrific forever home.
