Leonard shared his expertise with the clients by demonstrating how to properly string fresh green beans. He provided guidance and encouragement throughout the activity, allowing the clients to participate and practice the skill.

“Sometimes the heaviest thing we carry is the mask we wear around others.” 💭

We talked about the different masks we sometimes put on—pretending we’re okay, hiding our emotions, or trying to be strong when we’re struggling inside. We explored how exhausting it can be to constantly hide what we’re feeling and the importance of having safe spaces where we can be honest, vulnerable, and simply be ourselves. ❤️

Today was a reminder that we don’t always have to have it all together. It’s okay to take off the mask, talk about what we’re feeling, and allow ourselves to be supported.

Sometimes putting the mask down is the first step toward feeling a little lighter. 🌿
