CSUEB Alpha Phi The Eta Delta chapter of Alpha Phi is located at California State University East Bay. Alpha Phi is a women’s fraternity that has been everlasting since 1872.

The innovative leadership and organizational practices of Alpha Phi's Founders in 1872 set the spirit for the Alpha Phi of today...a sisterhood that values the past but looks forward to the progress offered by the future. It is a sisterhood that is sincere and closely tied with the fundaments of leadership, friendship, loyalty, scholarship, and service.

-SCHOLARSHIP assists us into striving for academic achievement.
-LEADERSHIP develops us into strong and confident women.
-SISTERHOOD allows our sisters to build everlasting bonds.
-LOYALTY makes our sisterhood a genuine one and our values true.
-PHILANTHROPY helps us give back to our communities. Alpha Phi is also an international membership organization. With 159 collegiate chapters throughout the United States and Canada, our lifelong sisterhood grows just as the ivy that twines. Alpha Phis devoted to Alpha Phi International are women with the utmost desire to enrich leadership and serve towards our philanthropic cause. The Alpha Phi Foundation, founded in 1956, is one of the oldest Greek foundations for women. Initially it was a trust – its purpose was to award grants from scholarship and cardiac aid funds. Today, two original priorities remain: to encourage and recognize superior scholarship and to support women’s cardiac health. The Foundation also funds programs that provide leadership and educational opportunities, educates women about philanthropy and assists Alpha Phi sisters in need. As a chapter we have noticed that we were once a part of Alpha Phi but now Alpha Phi has inevitably become a part of us.
