BAMA came home with three awards at the Chico concours. Steve Nunes won Best in Class in the 1974 - 1993 class with his 1991 GT. Nelson Cardadeiro won Best in Class in the 1964 1/2 - 1973 class and Best in Show with his 1969 Grandé.

Remembering Ron Bramlett

The Mustang Owner’s Museum family is deeply saddened by the passing of Ron Bramlett on September 8th. Ron was a true Mustang enthusiast, businessman, visionary, and friend to so many in the Mustang community.

For more than four decades, Ron dedicated his life to the Mustang. Alongside his family, he founded Mustangs Plus in Stockton, California, in the early 1980s, building it into one of the most recognized names in the Mustang restoration and aftermarket parts world. Ron’s passion went far beyond selling parts; he collected, restored, raced, showed, and, most importantly, shared his love for the Mustang with others.

But Ron’s legacy holds a very special place in the history of the Mustang Owner’s Museum.

In 2014, Ron served as Executive Event Director for the Mustang 50th Birthday Celebration, working alongside the late Steve Hall, Founder of the Mustang Owner’s Museum. As Ron and Steve worked together to create the historic 50th Anniversary Celebration in Charlotte and Las Vegas, they began discussing how to preserve and showcase the Mustang's incredible history beyond the anniversary event.

What started as an idea for a temporary Mustang history display grew into something much bigger.

Ron and Steve realized the Mustang community needed a permanent home - a place where the cars, memorabilia, stories, and people behind the Mustang could be celebrated for generations to come.

That idea became the Mustang Owner’s Museum.

Today, every Mustang that rolls through our doors, every story that is shared, and every enthusiast who walks through the Museum is part of the legacy that Ron helped create.

Ron didn’t just help build a business around the Mustang.

He helped build a legacy around the Mustang.

We are incredibly grateful for his friendship, his vision, his passion, and his many contributions to the Mustang hobby and to the Mustang Owner’s Museum.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Cindy, the Bramlett family, and all of Ron’s friends and fellow Mustang enthusiasts during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Ron.

Thank you for helping make the dream a reality.
Your legacy will live on every time someone walks through the doors of the Mustang Owner’s Museum.

To All Ron’s Car Buddies:

It is with heavy hearts we share that Ron passed away unexpectedly yesterday, September 8th, after a sudden medical event that had nothing to do with his previous health battles. We are heartbroken by how suddenly this happened and still processing this.
A joy came to Ron’s face when he talked to each of you. You were all special to him. He loved starting his morning off with something that all of you had in common- CARS!!
He would look through Bring a Trailer to find just the right cars to send. As he was doing that, he would sometimes find ones he wanted to own!
Thank you for the beautiful friendships that you’ve built and being there for Ron all these years❤️
Take that Mustang out and enjoy the ride as you think of Ron saying, “I love that car!” 🚘
We are hoping to have a celebration of life in October but will keep you all informed once that date is set.

Just learned that former BAMA member and Mustangs Plus owner Ron Bramlett passed away yesterday after a long illness.

Ron was the central figure in bringing the Mustang 50th anniversary celebration to Las Vegas on 2014. Also Mustangs Plus, that he owned with his brother, had twice yearly displays that drew some of the nicest Mustangs in CA.

Ron was always good to BAMA as he sponsored classes and donated items/gift certificates for Ponies and Snakes.

Our condolences to his wife Cindy and the entire Bramlett family.
