Art, remembrance and traditions that live on. 🧡

The Day of the Dead exhibition returns to the Hayward Area Historical Society Museum, bringing together works by local artists and students to honor loved ones who have passed and celebrate the enduring connections between generations.

Among the featured works is “Queen of the Afterlife” by Louis Jiminez, pictured here. Explore the exhibition and make time for these special programs:

• Oct. 17: Free Family Fun Saturday with themed storytime and crafts
• Oct. 31: Free craft day exploring the differences between Día de los Mu***os and Halloween
