The school year is officially in full swing! 📚✏️ Our students have just completed their first exams of the year, putting their hard work, dedication, and everything they've learned so far to the test!

Every lesson learned and every milestone reached is another step toward a brighter future. ❤️

Education has the power to change the trajectory of a life, a family, and an entire community. 📚❤️

Did you know that adults in Haiti have completed an average of just 5.4 years of schooling? For so many, the opportunity to continue their education has been out of reach.

We believe education is one of the most powerful ways to break cycles of poverty and create lasting change. Every lesson learned, every book opened, and every year spent in the classroom brings new opportunities for the future.

The Good Samaritan School is helping raise the next generation of Haitian teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and leaders who will one day invest their knowledge and talents back into their communities.

When you invest in education, you invest in generations to come. Thank you for helping make that possible. ❤️

🇭🇹 Happy Haitian Creole Day! ❤️💙

Today, we celebrate more than a language. We celebrate the heart, history, and beautiful culture of Haiti!

At HHA, we take great pride in Haiti’s mother tongue, Haitian Creole (Kreyòl). Our students are taught in Creole while also learning French, English, and Spanish, giving them opportunities to connect, communicate, and thrive beyond their communities.

We believe education should open doors while honoring where you come from. By embracing their native language and learning new ones, our students are building a future rooted in their Haitian identity and filled with possibility.

Bòn Jounen Kreyòl! 🇭🇹

The students are hard at work in robotics! 🤖 Through hands-on learning, they’re developing valuable skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. These experiences are building confidence, inspiring curiosity, and opening doors to future opportunities they may have never imagined!

Thank you for your generosity that makes opportunities like these possible. You are helping equip these students with skills that will serve them for a lifetime! ❤️

The school year is officially in full swing, and one of our favorite things is getting class photos from The Good Samaritan School

We are so grateful for the opportunity to watch these little ones learn, grow, and discover all that God has planned for them. What a blessing to be part of their journey! 💛

At HHA, we believe every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love, stability, and the security of family. Through our Children & Families programs, we work to strengthen families, reunite children with loved ones whenever possible, provide nurturing family homes, and support young adults as they transition into independence. Rooted in Christ’s love, our goal is to equip children and families with the care, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive and build brighter futures for generations to come.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support HHA at Farm Brewery at Broad Run! ❤️

We are so grateful to One Hot Mess and Farm Brewery for hosting us and helping us share the mission of HHA with the community.

It was a wonderful evening of connection, conversation, and raising awareness about the children and families we serve in Haiti. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more, ask questions, and encourage our work. Your support means so much, and we are grateful to have you as part of the HHA family. 🇭🇹❤️

As we recently shared, all of the ninth-grade students at the Good Samaritan School, (now tenth graders) successfully passed Haiti's national exam this summer. This rigorous government exam is a significant academic milestone, and students who do not pass are required to repeat the ninth grade. Their 100% success rate is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the dedication of their teachers. To celebrate this accomplishment, we recently recognized the students with Academic Achievement Awards.
