We are incredibly grateful to Brownsville Public Utilities Board for their generous donation of coloring books, stickers, crayons, pencils, and pens to the Harlingen and Brownsville Rainbow Rooms.

These simple but meaningful items bring comfort, creativity, and a sense of normalcy to children in difficult situations. Your support helps ensure that when children enter the Rainbow Room, they are met with care, compassion, and something just for them.

A big thank you to Members First Credit Union for their incredible generosity! Today they donated 75 Easter baskets for Rio Grande Valley foster kids, helping make the season a little brighter for children who need it most.

Blue Sunday Child Abuse Prevention is proud to announce that we have officially teamed up with the Rainbow Room of Cameron County.

For those who may not know, the Rainbow Room is a resource room filled with new clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, hygiene items, and other essentials for children who are victims of abuse or neglect. These items are provided to Child Protective Services caseworkers so that when a child is removed from a dangerous situation, they immediately receive comfort items and necessities, often in the most traumatic moment of their young lives.

Through this partnership, Blue Sunday Child Abuse Prevention will serve as a pass-through for donations and special projects that directly benefit the Rainbow Room. That means if you would like to donate items, sponsor a drive, support a specific need, or organize a collection project, we will ensure your contributions go straight to helping children right here in Cameron County.

This collaboration strengthens our shared mission: protecting children, supporting families, and standing in the gap when it matters most.
