ATU Local 732

ATU Local 732 Amalgamated Transit Union Local 732 is an affiliate of the International Union, Georgia AFL-CIO, and the Atlanta-North Georgia Labor Council.

We represent over 4,000 Transit Workers in the City of Atlanta, Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, and Gwinnett counties. The Amalgamated Transit Union, AFL-CIO, and this local union, were established in order to secure, and defend our rights, advance and safeguard our interests as working people.

SEVERE WEATHER THREAT this afternoon-tonight.

The remnants of Arthur will bring the risk of damaging wind gusts 60 mph+ and brief tornadoes. The tornado threat will likely be across the southern half of the area.

I'll be tracking the storms all day and overnight live on Channel 2.

FLOOD WATCH: Good morning! I'm tracking the now remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur along the southern Gulf coast now as the system moves in our direction later today and tonight.

The main impact will be heavy rain -- especially over our southern counties -- with an increasing risk of flash flooding later today. Widespread 2-4" rainfall totals are possible with locally higher amounts.

There is also a risk of isolated strong and severe storms as we often see with these kinds of systems.

I'm tracking all of the storm impacts now and through the morning on Channel 2!
