Hapeville Citizens "Chalkboard" Budget Sessions Updated Time!

Because of citizen concerns about those working out of town making it to the 5:30 PM workshop, the time has been changed to 6:00 PM on April 14th. I’ve attached the updated flyer with the changed time.

In an effort to inform citizens about the budget, as well as obtain citizen input and budgetary concerns, the City of Hapeville is organizing a workshop called the Citizen Chalkboard. This event will occur on both April 13 from 8:30-11:30a and April 14 from 5:30-8:30p. See attached flyer for additional information. Questions? Email [email protected] or call 404-669-2117.

Our first meeting of 2016 is tonight at 7p at the Scout Hut. We will be electing new officers. Your input is greatly needed!

Also, dues will be collected for 2016. Dues are $10 per household (or $10 per voting member if you want more than one vote in your house).

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies assessors will be at the Hapeville Police Department this week examining all aspects of policy and procedures, management, operations and support services to verify that the department is meeting state of the art standards. Tonight, Dec. 2 at 7pm, the department will open up the courtroom for citizens to come in and speak with the assessors about their experiences with the Police Department. If you are available, your input would be greatly appreciated. If you are not available in person, you may call in to offer comments to the assessors today between 3pm-5pm at 404-669-4675.
