The Burghàlie Academy of Visual Arts is a member only organization that advocates for creatives in the realms of fashion and art.

Burghàlie was built because the industry told us “no.” We don’t wait for permission. We create opportunity.

TBR is a platform that provides access and opportunities to creatives that are often overlooked in the industry. We fund collections for emerging designers and development for aspiring models. We run the workshops. We host the runway:
TBR Fashion Show Gala is 5 designers + 50 models who deserve to be seen.

This is community-funded work. Every dollar we raise together keeps the door open.

Last week, Burghàlie partnered with for the first installment of our Free Photoshoot Series, and it was a powerful reminder of how much your image plays a role in your brand. 📸

In today’s world, your photo is often the first introduction people have to you. Before they read your bio, hear your story, attend your event, or experience your work: they see your image. That first visual impression can say a lot about how seriously you take what you’re building.

Whether you’re hosting events, curating experiences, running a business, releasing music, or leading in your industry, the way you present yourself visually matters.

This past weekend, Burghàlie Academy proudly celebrated our founder, Rashaad Burghàlie, as he was honored with the “413 Award” at the For The Love of Creativity Gala. This recognition highlights not only his impact in the community, but also the resilience, dedication, and heart he’s shown throughout his journey.

We extend our deepest gratitude to for acknowledging his work and shining a light on the mission he continues to push forward. This honor holds tremendous meaning for our entire organization, and we stand with Rashaad as he carries it with pride. ✨

Watch the Light Pathways is a nonprofit led by industry professionals who transformed lived experiences into action—offering trauma-informed, peer-supported recovery and workforce tools that help creatives rebuild stable, purposeful lives.
