Last weekend, Women On The Rise traveled to Columbus, GA to table at Porch Fest to engage with citizens to inform them of their voting rights and of the voting rights of Georgians impacted by the criminal legal system. If you are off probation and parole, even if you owe fines, fees or restitution, you CAN vote in Georgia. Check your status or register at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/

Early voting in Georgia starts today and ends May 15th (this includes Saturdays and Sundays)! Avoid the long lines and poll worker foolishness on May 19th, "lost" and unmailed absentee ballots claims and all the other "politricking" that is done to suppress votes by voting EARLY! Remember, when you DON'T vote, you let the ones who do vote, vote for you!

Today is election day in northwest Georgia! Polls close at 7pm! Who will replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia's 14th Congressional District?

Despite there being 5 withdrawals, all candidates who withdrew plus the current 17 (12 Republicans, three Democrats, one Libertarian, and one independent) will appear on the same ballot. With so many contenders, no candidate may secure the 50% majority needed to win the election outright. If that happens, a runoff will happen on April 7. If you are registered, PLEASE GO AND VOTE!
