The 2026 Annual Prodigal Son Soup Kitchen, Inc. Back-to-School Bash was an incredible success, and our hearts are full of gratitude! 🔥❤️🔥

I would like to thank everyone for aligning with the mission and being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. 🙏🏾🤗💪🏾

What began as a vision to serve our community became a day filled with hope, prayers, tears of joy, opportunities, and genuine connection. Families left not only with essential resources, but with encouragement, smiles, and the reminder that they are supported by a community that truly cares.

This year's event provided:

📚 School enrollment opportunities
💼 Job placement resources
💰 Information on funding and grant opportunities
💇🏽 Free haircuts
👟 Brand-new shoes
🧴 Toiletries and essential supplies
🍽️ Delicious food
🎯 Games and family activities
💅 Nail painting
❤️ And most importantly, laughter, love, fellowship, and lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners and sponsors who made this day possible:

- Atlanta Technical College
- Columbus State University
- Bombas Giving Partner Community for generously donating socks
- NOBULL for providing new shoes
- Limitless Futures
* Carver High School Band for an outstanding performance that energized the crowd

To our dedicated Board of Directors, Rachel, Kimberly, Freda, Dominque, and Sharon, thank you for your unwavering leadership, commitment, and countless hours of service. Your passion continues to move our mission forward.

To our incredible family and volunteers, my mom Yolanda Green, Malcolm Brown, Twanda, Clark, Franceda Clark, Kensia Seaborn, Shedrick Sr., Kenesha Seaborn, and Stephen, thank you for showing up with servant hearts. Your energy, and compassion made a meaningful difference in the lives of every family we served. I love and appreciate y’all so much! 💛💛💛

Finally, thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, and community member who contributed in ways both big and small. 💪🏾

Because of you, our babies walked away excited, and prepared for a new school year, families gained access to valuable resources, and our community grew even stronger. 🤗🔥🫶🏾

Together, we are proving that when a community comes together with purpose, there is no limit to the impact we can make.

Here's to continuing to serve, inspire, and transform lives.
