Please read the last line on this post:

You MUST wear your shirts provided by Copper Country Autism Awareness. If you aren’t wearing your shirt, you WILL NOT be given entrance packets. In order to work with Skerbeck’s this MUST be enforced.

You can register at noon, but please know that the rides DO NOT start running until 1. The rainbow ride wrist bands are only active from 1-3. You are more than welcome to stay longer, but after 3, you must pay for your own rides.

Please RSVP BY AUGUST 14th to attend the fair. You can RSVP to Debbie Slayton at 906-369-4336. You can send a message to the page as well. Let’s make this a fun day and fair to remember!

We’re sharing this a little early this year, only because there are some extra notices. The fair board requires that all members wear their shirts provided by us, Copper Country Autism Awareness. We also have to have all RSVP’s in two weeks in advance, so the deadline will be August 14th. Unfortunately, there cannot be any additions after that date. Also, there will be 6 “allowed” rides for our families. The rides will have a Banner that will match the rainbow ride band, that will be given to our families to wear. The ride bands are donated to us by Skerbeck Entertainment, and we’re very thankful for this!

Our first annual Family Art Event was so much fun! A huge thanks to Lori Tolksdorf for planning it, and to local artist Linda Lohmann and art teacher for helping/teaching! The dioramas were so fun to create 😊

This is a reminder that we will be holding our first annual Family Art Event at the Salvation Army in Hancock from 1:00-3:00 pm on June 14th. The class will be taught by Linda Lohmann a local artist and art teacher who is also a member of the Copper Country Community Arts Center in Hancock.
We are very excited to be holding this event. The families will be making an outdoor theme diorama made with natural and man made materials.
We will also be distributing toys donated to us from the Houghton Fire Department. We also have a limited quantity of Apple and Android trackers for the children and if you think that would beneficial for your child, please call me at (715) 573-3898 so I have that ready for you. The trackers are part of a larger donation from the Elks that will be distributed later.
Please RSVP to me, Lori Tolksdorf, if you will be attending so we can make sure we have enough materials. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
