A huge thank you and congratulations to Gary Mishica at Hancock High School for the generous donation. Gary designed this beautiful and durable raised planter box as part of their Community Improvement Project 2024 with the goal to increase accessibility at City of Hancock’s Ryan Street Community Garden. High School students helped build the raised bed using donated, recycled materials including redwood reclaimed from water tanks built on Isle Royal. This fits well with RSCG sustainable model. We congratulate Gary on his retirement and thank him for many years of service to the commmunity.

MTU Triangle fraternity helped RSCG on Make a Difference Day last fall and returned in full force Sunday. They helped RSCG members with spring clean-up chores, including spreading new wood chips. Thanks to the City of Hancock DPW for supporting our efforts, it looks fabulous!
