It's Ola!!!

If you remember our beautiful girl Ola, you know that watching her transition from the streets to the indoor life has been just like watching a flower bloom. She started out so shy, but with a little time, grace, and a lot of patience, her inner confidence has completely blossomed!

This gentle, quiet soul has officially mastered the art of being a housecat. She is tidy, polite, a wonderful eater, and she still has that adorable playful side that comes out whenever her favorite electronic toys appear! 🐈✨

Her absolute favorite way to bond is still when you get down on her level. If you take a knee, she will come right up for gentle pets and reward you with the absolute sweetest, most grateful purrs. She also does perfectly fine with other gentle, easygoing kitty housemates!

She just needs a quiet, loving home with someone who understands that the most rewarding friendships take a little time to build. We know that with a little grace and kindness, she is going to be the most wonderful, loyal companion.

🎯 JACKPOT! Three for three! 🐈💨
Check out this amazing pull from our volunteers! We managed to safely secure three kittens and their mama under the drop trap all at once.

Once we got them safely in custody, we realized this awesome mama had actually already been TNR'ed by our team previously! Since she is already fixed and protected, we gave her some treats and let her right back out to her colony. Her three sweet babies, however, are officially on their way to the clinic to get their own TNR surgery packages so they can follow in her footsteps.

A huge shoutout to our hardworking trappers who waited patiently for the perfect moment to pull the string! 💪🐾

Tonight at zoom room Williamsburg!!!

Kellie and I are raising money and supplies to help care for the kittens coming from Yodar Colony in Newport News, the old Yodar barn on Jefferson, and the multiple feral adult cats that desperately need to be TNR. One of our incredible clients has thrown us this event to help spread the word.

Tips and Toe Beans is the wonderful TNR group that has helped us get on our feet, because we jumped head first
and realize that this is an overwhelming issue in the Hampton roads. Please check out their web page to donate towards the multiple other colonies they help with.

We have made a Venmo account specific for this project- all donations will be going directly to the care of these cats.

Establish a municipal fund for community cat spay/neuter programs

🕵️‍♂️ **INSPECTOR STITCH ON THE CASE: The Supply Room Audit!** 🔍🐈

Inspector Stitch has officially completed his inventory check of the Tips N ToeBeans pantry, and as you can see, he is *not* impressed with our current stock levels. This image shows all that we have currently. 😬📉

We are running critically low on supplies to keep our managed community cat colonies fed and our recovery spaces running smoothly. Stitch wrote up his official report, and we really need our amazing village to help us restock the shelves.

Right now, we are in desperate need of dry cat food for our outdoor colonies, kitten food for our growing babies, and large puppy pads to keep our transport and recovery crates clean and comfortable.

🎉 GRATEFUL NEWS ALERT! 🎉

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the Langley Spouses' Club for their incredibly generous $250 grant toward our Operation TNR initiative! 🐾✈️

Living and working so close to the base, it means the world to have the support of our local military community. This grant is a fantastic boost that goes directly toward the front lines of helping Hampton's community cats.

What does a $250 grant mean for the cats?
Because Tips N ToeBeans is an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization with no paid staff or overhead, 100% of these funds go directly to vital surgical care. This grant will completely fund multiple Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) packages—including the spay/neuter surgery, rabies and distemper vaccinations, and a protective ear tip. ✂️🐈

By humanely stabilizing community cat populations, the Langley Spouses' Club is directly helping us break the cycle of overpopulation, reduce neighborhood strain, and improve the lives of free-roaming cats in our area.

We are so deeply grateful for your generosity, your partnership, and your commitment to making Hampton a better place for both residents and community cats. From the bottom of our hearts (and toebeans!), thank you! 💖🐾

These grants are highly competitive, but winning them would be an absolute game-changer for our mission. It means securing the funds to subsidize hundreds of spay/neuter surgeries, buy more traps, and provide more food for our hardworking colony feeders. Simply put: More funding = More cats saved. 🚨 A SURPRISE IN THE RECOVERY ROOM: This is why we must TNR! 🐈🐾

We were gearing up for a busy morning of veterinary runs for "Operation TNR" when we went to check on a female cat that we had safely trapped and secured in our quiet recovery room.

But it turns out, she had other plans! When we opened the door, we weren't just greeted by the mama cat, we were also met by the heartbreaking, tiny mews of several newborns. She gave birth right there in our recovery space. 😲🍼

We are, of course, relieved they were born somewhere safe, warm, and secure rather than out on the cold Hampton streets where they would have faced immediate danger from weather, predators, and disease. This mama and her babies will soon be heading to a safe foster home to grow big and strong.
