Today begins Domestic Violence Awareness month, where we join others in honoring and standing with survivors and their families.💜 This year, on Saturday October 3rd we are inviting you to join us at the YH Thomas Community Center from 10a - 12p to recgonize those who have succumbed to violence, those still living in silence, and those breaking the cycle. We empower all to stop by this Saturday, and take in all the support within our community!

The Fast & Funky 5K was such a great time! ☯💜🏃Thank you to all who participated, raced, raffled, and had fun! We could not have done it without you all 🪩We grooved to support survivors of domestic violence, and spread awareness as we head in to OCTOBER - Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming fall events at Anne Companion Photography!

🎃Our 17th annual Halloween Portraits Food Drive will take place Saturday October 31st!

🎄Holiday mini-sessions will take place select dates from November 7th through December 16th.

🎅🏻Santa returns to the studio November 21st! The 21st, December 5th, and December 12th will be our long-running Visit with Santa by the fireplace.

🎅🏻And if you enjoy our Visit to Santa's Workshop, that will return November 28th!

One change this year: Santa Jamie will be at all four Santa dates; Santa Joe (who previously did the Visit to Santa's Workshop) has had to take a step back for health reasons and we wish him well!

If you want to be one of the first to sign up for these make sure you are a member of the Anne Companion Photography VIP group!

And as always, if you'd like an outdoor session this Fall, or any other session with me, I am at your service!

💜 ONE WEEK UNTIL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜

Angels, we are officially ONE WEEK away from October 1st! 💜

One week until we fill our communities with purple.

One week until we shine a light on the voices that have been silenced.

One week until we come together to remember those we have lost, support those still living through abuse, and remind survivors everywhere that they are not alone.

October is more than a month on the calendar. It is a time to stand together, speak up, share resources, educate ourselves, and remind the world that domestic violence affects real people, real families, and real lives.

💜 So, Angels, are you ready?

Let's get those purple ribbons ready.

Let's light up our homes, windows, porches, and communities in purple.

Let's share our purple photos and local awareness events.

Let's help spread the word by sharing our DVA posts.

Let's start conversations that can make a difference.

And let's remember our Voiceless Angels, whose stories and lives deserve to be honored. 🌹

You don't have to do everything.

One ribbon. One conversation. One shared post. One act of kindness.

Every little action can help someone feel seen, heard, and supported.
