Years ago, I followed a simple calling… to place dignity back into the hands of women who had lost so much. One purse at a time.

Through MetamorphYou, we’ve collected and poured love into every bag—filling them with essentials, but also with hope, worth, and the reminder: you are not forgotten.

To every woman who has received a copy of Omekio’s Purse—know that my story was always meant to meet yours. Not just as a gift, but as a declaration that healing is possible.

And to every person who has supported this mission—whether you donated a purse, gave supplies, purchased a book, or simply shared the vision—thank you. You are part of every life touched, every smile restored, and every woman reminded of her worth.

This work has never just been about giving items… it’s been about restoring identity.

Missing Child

A missing child is any person under 18 whose whereabouts are unknown to their parent or legal guardian.
This is a broad category and can include many situations, such as:
• Abduction (by a stranger or a family member)
• Lost or injured
• Kidnapped or trafficked
• Runaways (yes, runaways still count as missing children)

👉 Key point: All runaways are missing children, but not all missing children are runaways.

If a child’s whereabouts are unknown, they are missing—period.
The label “runaway” does not mean less serious or less urgent.

THRIVE is a proud partner of United Way of the Virginia Peninsula and the Virginia Eviction Reduction Pilot🙌🏽💙

Together, with other nonprofit partners and resources, this program identifies the highest risk families on the Peninsula and supports them with financial assistance, court navigation, and trauma-informed advocacy to stop the evictions and provide stabilization. 🏡✨

We are grateful to be subgrantees of this initiative and to work with such wonderful nonprofits who strengthen the entire Peninsula!🤝❤️

We have a young lady who recently had a house fire in Fayetteville and has plans to start nursing school at Fayetteville State University on 1/8. She could really use some financial assistance. MetamorphYou would love to pay her first semester which is going to cost around $500-$600. We will be paying it directly to the school. We are a non-profit and your contributions are 100% tax deductible.

This will be donated in the form of a scholarship.

I am asking for you to please donate at least $10 each and help me with this goal. Please share with others. I believe we can do it.

It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Let’s come together and Gain Strength!

There are two scanning options : One is to make a donation to our Non-Profit (tax deductions) and the other is to sign up to join us.
