It has been a rough week for the Hammonton Hawks family as we mourn the loss of two former coaches.
Rich Cramer was a part of the Hawks family, spending time on our JV football coaching staff alongside his brother, Rodney Cramer. No one gave a more welcoming greeting than Coach Rich. He will always be remembered for his welcoming personality, infectious smile, and positive attitude toward his players and fellow staff members.
The Cramer family has been a longtime supporter of the Hammonton Hawks, and we are deeply saddened by Rich’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughters, Rebecca and Kayla, his grandson Matteo, his parents, Rodney Sr. and Rita, his brother Rodney, his sister Rhonda, and the entire Cramer family during this difficult time.

The Hammonton Hawks family is heartbroken by the passing of Kevin Whitney, known to so many in our community as Coach Whit.
Kevin dedicated over a decade of his life to coaching Hawks football, working with both our P*e Wee and JV teams. He gave countless hours to our players, helping teach the game, build character, and create memories that will last a lifetime. His presence and unmistakable voice on the practice fields left a lasting impression on our young athletes.
Kevin’s impact extended far beyond football. He was a dedicated coach, a proud family man, and a valued member of the Hammonton community who devoted so much of his time to helping local youth grow both on and off the field.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife, Lainie, his children, Kevin, Kellen, and Jillian, all of his grandchildren, and the entire Whitney family during this difficult time. We hope they find comfort in knowing how many lives Coach Whit touched and how deeply he will be missed.
Rest in peace, Coach Whit and Coach Rich. Thank you for your years of dedication, your love for our players, and your lasting contribution to the Hammonton Hawks family.
