Zoey - Those eyes. That face. This sweet 11-month-old girl has been through more than any pup should. Zoey was part of a heartbreaking cruelty case — found in early December with her four siblings and their deceased mom. The pups were starved and left to fend for themselves. Giving Zoey the best chance for recovery from that terrible ordeal she was fostered in Alabama until June 14th. Zoey spent those months in Alabama on a large rural property gaining weight and confidence - she has the heart of a survivor. Zoey was shy at first, but once she felt safe, she became the most playful, loving sweetheart. She absolutely adores other dogs and thrived there on the farm-like property with confident canine pals to help her blossom.
Zoey came to New Jersey on June 14th to be fostered in Pine Hill, NJ with one of her littermates. The sudden move here was difficult for her and she was incredibly freighted losing her newfound confidence.
Early on Friday morning June 20th Zoey escaped her new foster family's fenced backyard in Pine Hill NJ near Ramblewood Drive and has not been seen since.

Feeling Scared and Alone - young dog new to the area recently transported rescue from southern states to New Jersey.
May seek comfort of areas and properties with other dogs, likely to stay out of sight and hidden from view. Search emphasis on neighborhood residents in the local area at this time. If anyone is feeding outdoor cats in the area please keep a lookout for Zoe.

Well done! Good job by all involved. Thank you for your service.

We're happy to rescue pets, too!

Today a couple was walking and heard whimpering. They discovered a dog was trapped down a vertical pipe and called 9-1-1.
Fayette County Fire & EMS responded and was able to rescue the pup and get him back to his owner!
Thank you to Captain Jason Anderson, FF John Austin, and FF Dylan Chaiyakum. Great job!!

Rest Easy Luka! You will forever be in the Hearts of so many that cared so much!
