Join us tonight (Thursday, June 4, 2026) for the last speaker series before our summer meeting hiaitus. “From Maine to Hammonton: The Story of Dr. Joseph Henry North and His Family,” will feature Stan North and Jeffrey North for a presentation exploring the history and legacy of the North family, one of Hammonton’s earliest and most influential families.

The program will focus on Dr. Joseph Henry North, Sr., who arrived in Hammonton in 1858 as the town’s first physician. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. North became an advocate for fruit farming and played an important role in Hammonton’s early development. His descendants continued the family’s legacy in medicine, education, and community life for generations.

Join us at the Canoe Club. The membership meeting begins at 6:00 PM, followed by a presentation by Stan North at 7:00 PM exploring the story of Hammonton’s first resident doctor through the lens of family history.

Hope to see you there!
