Today we observed Purple Thursday as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Purple Thursday is a national day of action where people wear purple to show support for survivors, honor victims, and raise awareness about domestic violence. 💜💜

We also want to make sure we thank everyone that helped us behind the scenes for our event! Some of our members are in positions that assist with DV victims, but some of them are just volunteers that want to help serve. Either way we couldn't put this on without our amazing team! Check out below for pictures of our team working behind the scenes and a few action shots from lunch!

Thank you again to everyone in the community that made our annual event a success! We are so grateful to be able to continue serving and helping the victims in Marion County. See you all next year for our 20th Annual Golf Tournament!

On behalf of the Marion County Domestic Violence Task Force, we want to say a huge thank you to our corporate sponsors this year. Check out our 19th Annual Golf Tournament banner to see these wonderful sponsors.

We want to give a shoutout to Hambones BBQ for smoking and pulling meat for everyone's lunch on tournament day!

We also want to give another shout out to The Grove Beverages for setting up at our event and donating a percentage of their sales to the DV Task Force. Their lemonade was a much-needed treat on our hot and sunny day!
