Thank goodness for our amazing volunteers from Reid Hospice for helping us today, as we served 111 families In the food pantry and 53 in the personal care pantry. If anyone in our service area was not able to make it reach out. And we can figure out a time to meet. We have lots of bread and produce left and a little milk.

Our produce has been a huge hit today! We are so thankful to have received the grant from Reid to purchase the cooler for our produce.

Who's ready for Farm Credit Mid-America's Stock the Trailer?! 🥁😁 We need YOU to make this campaign a success! How can you do that?
🍀Bring at least one item to each of the following: Project Drop Off, Project Judging, Animal Check-In, Animal Shows, Battle of the Barns.
🍀Donate funds by check to Wayne County 4-H Association that will be used to purchase more food items for the trailer.
All food items will be donated to the Nettle Creek Community Coalition Food Pantry to support the great service they are providing to our communities. Let's stock the trailer, fight hunger, and make the best better!

Wayne County 4-H - let's stock the trailer, fight hunger, and make the best better!
💪We will be participating in Farm Credit Mid-America's Stock the Trailer program, where we compete against surrounding counties to see which one can collect the most non-perishable food items by weight.
💚All food items that we collect will be donated to the Nettle Creek Community Coalition Food Pantry, which serves an average of 100 families from Nettle Creek and Western Wayne each Friday they are open. They are in great need of donations to continue to serve our communities at this volume.
🍀Wayne County 4-H’ers are tasked with bringing at least one item to each of the following events that they are participating in: Project Drop Off, Project Judging, Animal Check-In, Animal Shows, Battle of the Barns. The more the merrier!

Have you missed us? We have lots of food and a large amount of produce and a special treat as well. We are open 10-4. You do not have to arrive at 10. It will not get you anything better than at 11. It will just allow us to spread out and have room.

Just a reminder the food pantry is the 12th and 26th for June. Since there were 5 Fridays in May, this Friday is not pantry day.
