This Saturday, November 7th, 2026. The “new” Archive Events Center at 33 West Main Street, Cambridge City, will be holding an open house from 11:00am - 2:00pm. They are now open and ready to take your reservations!

Assessment teams will be in Cambridge City starting as early as tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14 [including weekends].

The Town has brought in specialists from Tetra Tech Disaster and Emergency Management and EGIS, working for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, to take a closer look at flood-damaged structures. Each team carries a letter from the Town.

• No charge to property owners
• About 15 minutes per home
• No need for the team to come inside; you are welcome to tell them about your damage
• Results mailed to every property owner, with information on how to appeal

No appointments are necessary. They are going house to house, prioritizing homes that are in the floodway and already assessed over 50%.

🎄 HELP US BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER BACK TO CAMBRIDGE CITY! 🎄

After the devastating flood, the Town of Cambridge City lost the Christmas pole decorations that have helped make our downtown beautiful and festive during the holiday season.

Jill King has spearheaded an effort to replace those decorations—and we need your help!
We are working with GP Products of Marion, who is generously offering us a 35% discount on the decorations. However, orders must be placed soon, and we are hoping to complete our order by Monday, October 12 to receive them in time for the holidays.

✨ The average cost of each pole decoration, after the discount, is $300–$400. ✨

The new decorations will feature beautiful, old-fashioned Christmas designs—not wreaths—bringing a classic Christmas feel back to downtown Cambridge City.

❤️ EVERY DONATION WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The amount of donations received by October 12 will determine how many decorations we are able to purchase. Whether you can help purchase an entire decoration or simply give what you can, your generosity will help bring some much-needed Christmas cheer to our community after a very difficult year.
