Our 4th Ma Blue Ribbon Calf Sale clinic presenter is no stranger to the show world, William Kelly.
Bill will be presenting
Selecting a show calf.

Just develop a Plan: Breed, Age, pedigree., budget.
Goals: A calf for Local , State level, or National shows.
End result: To resell or to keep as a foundation cow.
Seek advice: Many highly skilled cow man/woman are willing to help you in this journey.

William Kelly III of Kelly-View Farm, Wi******er, NH, is a breeder of registered Brown Swiss and Holstein cattle. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 with a degree in Dairy Science. In 1990, he was the high individual at the Intercollegiate Dairy Judging Contest in Wadison, WI.

Kelly-View Farm has had many All-American nominations over the years, in three breeds: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, and Holsteins. Showing highlights include breeding a World Dairy Expo junior champion in 2007, a reserve junior champion in 1990, as well as developing and owning the reserve grand champion Brown Swiss in 2001.

Bill’s judging experience has taken him to 18 states and 2 foreign countries. Highlights include being the associate Brown Swiss judge at World Dairy Expo in 2006. In 2007, he judged the Southwest National Brown Swiss Show in Stillwater, OK. In 2008, he judged the Eastern National Holstein Show in Harrisburg, PA.

Over the years, Kelly-View Farm has exported embryos and cattle to 10 different countries. A highlight being in 1994 with Kelly-View Convincer Kathi being Grand Champion of the Brazil National Show.
