What an incredible Block Party & Father’s Day celebration! 🧱🎉💙

Our participants had a blast building creative LEGO masterpieces, spending time with our amazing Lunch Buddies, and making memories filled with laughter, friendship, and fun. 🏗️✨

A huge THANK YOU to Powell Studio Architecture for joining us and partnering with us for this special day! We are so grateful for your support and for helping make this event such a success.💙

Special thanks to Bricks & Minifigs for generously supplying all the LEGO bricks that kept the creativity flowing throughout the day! 🧱🙌

Today, our team at Building Blocks had the opportunity to participate in CPR & AED training provided by Bayside CPR & AED Training Center, LLC.

This important training was made possible through a grant from the Live Well Foundation of South Lake - Florida and coordinated by the American Heart Association - Florida. Thanks to this generous grant, Building Blocks is now equipped with our very own Automated External Defibrillator (AED), enhancing the safety and preparedness of our program for the individuals we serve, our staff, and our visitors.

We are incredibly grateful to the LiveWell Foundation, the American Heart Association, and Bayside CPR & AED Training Center for investing in the health and safety of our community. Knowledge, preparedness, and access to life-saving equipment can make all the difference in an emergency.

💦☀️ SPLASHING into summer the best way possible! ☀️💦

Our very first Water Day of the summer was a HUGE success! From water games and lots of laughter to staying cool under the Florida sun, everyone had an absolute blast making memories with friends. 😎🌊🎉

A very special THANK YOU to Ms.Kay & Ms.Dawn from Kiwanis for joining us today and treating everyone to an ice cream truck! 🍦❤️ Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces made the day even sweeter.

And one more special celebration… 🎂🥳 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MS.KAY! Thank you for all you do for our program and for helping make today so much fun. We hope your birthday was as amazing as you are! 💙

Building Blocks was proud to attend The Family Cafe in Orlando today!

The Family Cafe has been empowering Floridians with disabilities and their families through Collaboration, Advocacy, Friendship, and Empowerment since 1998. We spent the day connecting with organizations, learning about valuable resources, and exploring new ways to strengthen the supports available to the individuals and families we serve.

One of the highlights of the day was running into familiar faces! We were excited to connect with Building Blocks Board Member Joshua Rosenberg and Marketing Manager Angelica of Rose Legal Group, P.A.. Strong community partnerships like these help us continue Building Hope One Block at a Time.

Thank you to the The Family Cafe for bringing together self-advocates, families, professionals, and community partners from across Florida to learn, grow, and support one another.

🎨✨ Creativity was in full swing this afternoon! ✨🎨

Our clients had an amazing time working alongside the Kiwanis Club on special art projects for our upcoming Art Auction this July! 🖌️💙 From painting and creating to sharing ideas and plenty of laughter, the room was filled with creativity, friendship, and excitement.

Each project is more than just a piece of art, it’s a reflection of our clients’ unique talents, hard work, and imagination. Watching their confidence shine as they brought their ideas to life was truly inspiring! 🌟

A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club for spending the afternoon with us and helping make these creative moments so special. We can’t wait to showcase these beautiful works of art at our July Art Auction! Stay tuned, you won’t want to miss it! 🎨🖼️💙🧡💛
