MDA UAW Local 571

This past Saturday, we hosted UAW members from Lima, OH. These members are on loan to the MTC here at Electric Boat helping us out. There President Alex Saam Jr, Tim Bowen and Doyle Helton II spent the day Saturday meeting and catching up with their members here in CT. These folks build the Abram Tanks in Lima. It was great being able to spend some time hosting our UAW brothers and sisters. Thank you all for coming out, in Solidarity!

MDA-UAW Local 571 recently donated $3000 to the CT Humane Society in Waterford. The CT Humane Society is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state and helps thousands of pets every year.

We share their vision where each companion animal finds a permanent, compassionate home, where communities are enriched by the special bond between people and animals, and where animal cruelty no longer exists.
