MDA-UAW Local 571 recently donated $3000 to the CT Humane Society in Waterford. The CT Humane Society is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state and helps thousands of pets every year.

We share their vision where each companion animal finds a permanent, compassionate home, where communities are enriched by the special bond between people and animals, and where animal cruelty no longer exists.

It is with profound sadness that I share the heartbreaking news that our MDA brother, Wesley woods, passed away unexpectedly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this unfortunate and sad time. Rest in peace brother.

Congratulations to 8 outstanding High School Seniors of this year's MDA Scholarship awards. All the award recipients will be continuing their education at various colleges throughout the US this Fall.

A special event dinner was held at Tony D's in New London on July 2, 2026 to recognize the recipients and their family.

MDA-UAW Local 571 is this year's Title Sponsor of the V.E.T.S. Golf Classic 2026 held on Monday, September 28, 2026.

The V.E.T.S. Golf Classic is a charity tournament at Lake of Isles Golf Resort, honoring veterans and funding life-changing therapeutic programs.
