The IOWA Sub Club Commissioned April 5, 2025 - the commissioning committee wil lbegin transition to the IOWA Sub Club.

A 501(c)3 organization organized to support the crew and families of SSN 797. To provide and support a wide range of events and activities leading up to the commissioning of the vessel. To honor and welcome the crew, their families, and the to-be commissioned vessel to the fleet. To introduce the crew and their families to the citizens of the great state IOWA and raise awareness to the continuatio

n of the proud heritage of the name “USS IOWA”. In pursuit of this mission, the USS Iowa committee will uphold the values of the United States Navy and that of the State of Iowa. For the commissioning of the USS Iowa: The support will provide the financial means to conduct the appropriate activities and events leading to the christening & commissioning of the USS Iowa. To the crew of the USS Iowa: The support team will work to develop a relationship between the crew and the State of Iowa.

The Commissioning committee would like to extend a hearty THANK YOU to all of the supporters, volunteers and donors.

Commissioned April 5, 2025 - the commissioning committee will begin transition to the IOWA Sub Club. A follow-on 501(c)3 organization organized to support the crew and families of SSN 797.
