Good news: the early bird deadline for the 52nd CALLERLAB Convention in Indianapolis has been extended to September 15. After that date, prices go up — Early Bird Caller is $300, Early Bird NonCaller is $270 — so if you haven't registered yet, now's the time.

TODAY IS THE DAY!

September 1, 2026 — TIPPP implementation begins.

The new CALLERLAB program lists are officially in effect. Here is what that means:
• Callers begin teaching from the new lists.
• New material will be introduced.
• Dancers will need time to learn and practice.
• Callers should use their professional judgment throughout the transition.
• No one is expected to know everything on day one.

This is a transition, not a test.

Thank you to the CALLERLAB committees, callers, clubs, and dancers who have helped prepare for this next step. Now let’s teach, learn, dance, and move forward together.

With all the added traffic around the TIPPP rollout — and a good bit of unwanted spam traffic along with it — callerlab.org has been running a little slower than we'd like lately.

We're working on a fix, and we appreciate your patience in the meantime.

Q: What is the most important thing to remember tomorrow?
A: September 1 is the beginning of the transition, not the end.

The new CALLERLAB program lists officially take effect tomorrow.

Callers: begin teaching from the new lists.
Dancers: do not worry if you do not know everything yet.
Clubs: give your dancers and callers time to adjust.

Everyone: be patient, keep learning, and keep dancing.
The purpose of TIPPP is to help us move forward together. Tomorrow, we begin.

TIPPP Frequently Asked Question #14

Q: What should dancers expect at a dance after September 1?
A: Some things will be familiar. Some things will be new.

The new program lists will be in effect, and callers will begin teaching and calling from them. Dancers should not expect to know every new call immediately.

There will be a learning curve, and that is expected. Be patient with yourself, be patient with your fellow dancers, and enjoy the process of learning something new.

TIPPP Frequently Asked Question #13

Q: Do I need to completely redesign my classes for September 1?
A: No. The new lists should guide your teaching beginning September 1, but you do not have to reinvent everything overnight.
Use the new teaching resources and the recommended teaching order, and introduce new material at a pace your dancers can absorb.

Remember that September 1 begins the transition. You have time to teach, and your dancers have time to learn.
