đź’™ One year ago in Shreveport, CALLERLAB members filled the Nationals with a sea of blue!

It was great to see so many of you proudly wearing your CALLERLAB blue shirts at the 74TH NATIONAL SQUARE DANCE CONVENTION - June 25 - 28, 2025 - Shreveport, LA. From dancers to callers, cuers, and leaders, your support and enthusiasm were on full display.

Now we're counting down the days until we gather again at the 75th National Square Dance Convention in Waco, Texas! Be sure to stop by the CALLERLAB booth, wear your CALLERLAB badge, and mark your calendar for Friday, June 26 — CALLERLAB Blue Shirt Day. If you have a CALLERLAB blue shirt, we'd love to see you wearing it and joining the fun.

While you're there, don't miss the CALLERLAB Foundation's Advanced Trail End Dance on Wednesday evening!

Another evening of celebration and reflection—recognizing excellence across our community. We honored Hiroshi Nakagawa and the JSDA with the Award of Excellence, and celebrated the generosity of our Foundation donors whose support helps preserve and promote square dancing for future generations.
We also looked ahead with a preview of the 52nd CALLERLAB Convention in Indianapolis, and took time to acknowledge our outgoing Chairman—with a little creative (and entertaining) help from Ray and some AI magic.
The night concluded with Ted’s final Chairman’s speech—thoughtful, personal, and a meaningful close to his time in leadership.

An evening dedicated to the people who keep CALLERLAB moving forward. We recognized our Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs, celebrated a 25-Year Calling milestone, welcomed Small World Award recipients, and honored retiring Board members for their service. We also recognized our newest Accredited Caller Coaches—investing in the next generation of leaders.
And in a moment that won’t soon be forgotten, Ted presented Teresa with the Chairman’s Award—an acknowledgment of the leadership, dedication, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps it all running. A night full of appreciation, reflection, and well-deserved applause.
