Archie is a delightful 6-year-old boy who loves people and loves to play. His other loves include getting his belly rubs, rummaging through the dog toys (should be ‘hardy’ ones) and showing off his Sit and Shake commands for treats. His favorite games are fetch and doing the zoomies/chase with other dogs.

He was raised with a family and has perfect house manners, including housetraining. He adapts very quickly and is not shy about making himself at home on the sofa or bed. But one caution, don’t leave the porcelain bowl lid up! LOL. He’s not picky where his drinks come from. He’s quiet in the house, but will alert in the yard to squirrels, raccoons, and other animals or strangers. He has a good recall to his name and returns even faster if the word “Treat” is mentioned. He does get along well with other dogs. It’s unknown how he’d be with cats. On leash he’s a bit of a puller, but I suspect with consistent training this can be corrected.

Archie is 17” and tips the scales at 30 lbs. He’s neutered, current on all vaccinations and negative for heart worms. He recently completed a full dental work up with cleaning. He’s a gorgeous red sable with very little black. While too much of a herding dog for families with small children, he would be a great fit for a family with grade schoolers and above and/or active adults. He prefers not to be crated, but will settle down after several minutes in one.

Sonic is such a delightful character! This 9-year-old neutered male Sheltie, with his striking sunburned bi-black coat, truly embodies a friendly and easygoing spirit. He has a penchant for the outdoors, particularly enjoying the serene shade provided by the grand maple trees in your yard.

Despite facing some challenges with thyroid issues, which are now well-managed and have returned to normal levels, Sonic has made significant progress. When he first joined our family, he weighed nearly 50 pounds and found it difficult to engage in much exercise. Now, at a healthier 32 pounds, he's becoming increasingly active, which is heartwarming to see. He comes when you call him and knows the command sit.

Sonic's personality shines through in his love for trips to places like Lowe’s, where he enjoys the attention and affection from those he meets. He is patiently waiting for a forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his gentle nature.
