Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries Since 1892, Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries has provided hope for South Carolina's children and families.

Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries exists to restore the Faith, Family, and Future of vulnerable children and families through Christian services that emphasize ministry and healing. Connie Maxwell has five campus locations across SC. Each year, more than 200 children and their families participate in one of our core programs: residential care, crisis care, family care, and foster care.

This month's Staff Devotion was brought to us by Pastor Aaron Tripp from Edgefield First Baptist Church.

Pastor Aaron used Elijah's story from 1 Kings 19 to remind us all that we need to always trust in the Lord even when we may not understand what is going on or are unable to see the full picture—something we strive to teach each child at Connie Maxwell as well.

Our Connie Maxwell Equestrian girls, along with Director Lauren Jones, had the opportunity to take a trail ride at Bell's Farm in Abbeville—they rode for 12 miles (a 7 hour day)!

It took confidence, positivity, and true grit to make it through creeks and across bridges through the bugs and the heat. We are so proud of these girls that never shy away from a challenge!

We are so proud of our graduates from Connie Maxwell's PeeDee Campus, Erin and Kiah!

The girls were celebrated with gifts, food, friends, and loved ones, including friend at our PeeDee Campus, Executive Director-Treasurer for the SC Women's Missionary Union, Jess Archer. We are so grateful for and humbled by the support our children receive from our communities.

A special congratulations goes out to Emily Charpia. She is a Completer! This is a term that is used at the Frank Russell Technology Center when a student completes one of the many career tracks that is offered through the school. In Emily's case, she has completed all of the courses in the Agricultural Science and Technology program. As a result, she has received a Certificate in Horticulture.
