Greenwood Lions Focus on Mental Health and Well-Being

World-wide, all Lions Clubs are focusing on mental health and well-being in October of this year. As part of this initiative, the Greenwood Lions Club recently delivered clothing and personal hygiene items to the Beckman Center of Mental Health Services in Greenwood. The Greenwood Lions Club recently participated in the Latin Festival in Uptown Greenwood. Lions were on hand to offer free vision screening at the event. The screening device we use not only helps identify vision clarity issues, it can identify six other risk factors that could severely impact a person's vision. The club offers this service at events, schools and businesses. For more information contact [email protected].
