✅ Passion for serving the community is a plus!

For 20 years, Sarah served as one of the welcoming faces of Feed Your Neighbor. As our intake volunteer, she greeted every neighbor who came through our doors seeking assistance, offering a warm smile, a kind word, and a compassionate heart. She helped countless individuals feel seen, valued, and cared for as she checked them in and guided them through the process.

Sarah's dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to serving others left a lasting impact on our pantry and the community we serve. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the spirit of compassion she shared so freely.

Though she is gone, her light still shines. ❤️

🌟 Meet Two of the Visionaries Behind Feed Your Neighbor 🌟

This photo features two instrumental leaders in our pantry’s history: Ann Harrison and Herb Carlton (Roy’s father).

Over 30 years ago, Ann started the first pantry in a small room at the Chapel of St. Paul Episcopal Church, serving just a dozen or so clients each week. Through her dedication and the support of community members like Herb, that small ministry grew into the organization we know today.

Now, Feed Your Neighbor serves more than 100 clients each week, thanks to the commitment of over 40 dedicated volunteers who help prepare for and support our Thursday food distribution from 1–3 PM.

As we continue our mission, we honor the foundation laid by those who believed that neighbors helping neighbors could make a lasting difference. 💚
