🏴‍☠️🏓 Charleston Pirates, would you be game?

The Charleston Chapter of ECU Alumni has the opportunity to host a Pickleball Networking Event in Mount Pleasant during the last week of November, and we’d love to see who might be interested!

Whether you’re a pickleball regular, have never picked up a paddle, or just want to come out and connect with fellow Pirates, all skill levels are welcome!

Would you participate?

💜 Yes! Count me in!
😢 Not this time

This is just an interest check for now, so cast your vote and let us know if you’d be game!

☠️🐾 Ahoy, Pirate Nation!

Mother Nature has other plans for us this weekend. Due to the severe weather and heavy storms forecast for tomorrow, our ECU Watch Party has been cancelled.

We're disappointed we won't be gathering to cheer on the Pirates together, but the safety of our crew comes first.

Stay safe, stay dry, and let's all cheer on ECU from the comfort of home.

💜💛 Go Pirates!

We have a winner! Check out the video to see if you've won this year's beautiful ECU blanket, handmade by our local pirate Teresa. Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales go to the Lowcountry Pirate Scholarship fund sponsored by the Charleston Chapter of the Alumni Association.

Thanks to all of the Pirates who came out to last weekend's Riverdogs game! This was our final event of the 2025-2026 season. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall for some Pirate football!

Sharing a big THANK YOU to Sabrina, Troy, and Farah for coming out to the The Low Down on Saturday to pack meals to go kits for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston. All credit for organizing this service project goes to Sabrina!

The team was able to make 70 meal bags with all of the donated food items from Pirates across the state. There were additional food items that will help to stock the house pantry so families can grab snacks throughout the day. Thank you all for showing your Pirate pride & honoring our motto, Servire!
