Get involved with supporting local STEM education by helping plan a fundraising event!
SWE is in the processes of laying the foundations for organizing a special fundraising event for spring 2025, and we need your help! Our VP Chris Costin is holding an information/interest meeting on Monday, 11/4 at 5:00 – 6:00 PM in Isley Innovation Hub, Rm 167. We would love to have your brilliant ideas, support, creativity!
Curious about the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam?
Learn what to expect and participate in walk-through review sessions to cover key concepts covered in the Other Disciplines FE Exam. This FE Prep Series is hosted by ECU’s Biomedical Engineering Honor Society, Alpha Eta Mu Beta, and is open to all students.
Dr. Jinbo Chen will be presenting a review of fluid mechanics concepts and walk-through examples in-person from 6:00-7:00 PM on Monday, Nov 4 in Bate 1021.

Interested in cutting edge biotech? Gene therapy, regenerative medicine, and starting up biomedical businesses?
ECU’s Society of Women Engineers is excited to host Dr. Tracey du Laney, senior director of the NC Biotechnology Center in Raleigh, NC.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about emerging technologies and research, as well as budding companies, to find a job or explore a special topic you would like to pursue!
Dr. Tracey du Laney is scheduled to come in-person on Wednesday, November 6, from 5:30-6:30 PM in Isley 165.
