Meet our Executive Board! These members have been hard at work all semester and are so excited to meet you all!
Hi y’all! My name is Ella Slate, and I am a senior majoring in accounting, finance, and supply chain management. I am the president of Beta Alpha Psi, and the Vice Chair of the Dean’s Student Leadership Council. This summer, I completed an audit internship at Cherry Bekaert in their Raleigh office. In my free time, I enjoy running, traveling, and being with my friends and family. Fun fact: This summer, I traveled to Australia and Germany with the College of Business!
Hi, my name is Kieran Barclay and I am in the MSA program here at ECU. I am an officer for Beta Alpha Psi, Vice President for the Student Accounting Society, former endowment chairman for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity (Epsilon Mu), and former Club Boxing President and Coach. For work, I have interned at EARNEY Accountants & Advisors for about two and a half years now on their Assurance Team. I have also participated in and mentored the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Interns Encounter Program. I am originally from Wilmington, NC. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my girlfriend. So far, we have been to Sicily, Ireland, the Caymans, and the Bahamas as well as multiple U.S. states. Also, I am a big MMA/kickboxing fan, live-music lover, and foodie! If you ever have any questions about accounting, internships, travel, music, or where to get a good burger, I am your guy! Excited to get to know each and every one of you this semester!
Hi everyone! My name is Katie Council, and I am excited to serve as your Beta Alpha Psi Treasurer this year!
I graduated from ECU in December 2025 with a degree in Accounting, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Accounting, with plans to graduate in Spring 2027. After graduation, I will begin my career with TJT in Fall 2027 as a Tax Associate.
I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone this semester, making fun memories, and growing professionally together. I’m excited for a great year with Beta Alpha Psi!
