For generations, York Rite Masons have gathered in Greenville to learn, serve, build friendships, and preserve the traditions of the Craft.

Greenville Chapter No. 50 was established on May 26, 1886.
Bethlehem Commandery No. 29 was established on May 11, 1922.
Hiram Council No. 18 was established on May 8, 1944.

In 2026, those histories represent 140 years for the Chapter, 104 years for the Commandery, and 82 years for the Council.

We are grateful for the Companions and Sir Knights who built this heritage. Our responsibility is to preserve what they entrusted to us—and prepare the York Rite for the men who will follow.

The York Rite offers a Master Mason a continuing journey through history, symbolism, fellowship, service, and personal growth.

The Greenville York Rite Bodies consist of:
Greenville Chapter No. 50
Hiram Council No. 18
Bethlehem Commandery No. 29

Each body has its own lessons and identity, but all three encourage men to become better Masons, better leaders, and better servants of their communities.
