This Saturday, Thomas Foreman Park will be filled with music, local vendors, food, and community as Greenville gathers to celebrate Juneteenth! ❤️

The free event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include live music from Seven Til Sunrise, guided trolley tours of the African American Cultural Trail, and opportunities to learn more about local history. Bring your family, invite a friend, and take part in a meaningful day of freedom, resilience, and legacy!

The Intern Experience, presented by ECU Health, continued at Pitt Street Brewing Company with a kickoff reception focused on conversation, connection, and community. 🎉

Interns were joined by their supervisors, local employers, past program participants, and young professionals for an evening designed to help them build relationships beyond the workplace and feel more connected to Greenville-Pitt County.

Yesterday’s June Power Luncheon, presented by Ward and Smith, P.A. and held in partnership with ECVC, Inc. - Eastern Carolina Vocational Center, featured keynote speaker John Register, a Paralympic Games Silver Medalist, U.S. Army Combat Veteran, and Certified Professional Keynote Speaker.

John shared a powerful message on resilience, leadership, and redefining what ability looks like, reminding us that obstacles do not have to define what is possible in the workplace or beyond! 👏

We're grateful to John for sharing his story and challenging us to shift our perspective. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such an inspiring and meaningful afternoon!

This year's Intern Experience Program is officially in session! 🎉

Presented by ECU Health, session 1 kicked off with Greenville 101, an afternoon focused on connection, community, leadership, and the power of building strong professional relationships.

Interns had the chance to meet local leaders, learn more about Greenville’s growth, and take part in the “If You Were Leading Greenville” challenge, where they shared thoughtful ideas for attracting and retaining young professionals.

We’re grateful for the fresh perspectives they are bringing to the table and can’t wait to continue learning from their ideas, experiences, and vision for Greenville’s future. 👏🏻
