PiRates FTC Team #13735 The PiRates 13735 is a local Pitt County FIRST Tech Challenge team that competes in district and state competitions.

Our team consist of students in grades 7th - 12th grades.

The FIRST LEGO League Challenge is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in August, FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams are introduced to a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on.We loved hosting and thank you to all of the volunteers.

Yesterday we started off competitions in Rolesville at Thales Academy. Despite some struggles in the beginning, we were selected as alliance partners with and !

We also won the Motivate award and got third place for the Control award. Overall we had a successful day competing alongside our newest sister team the Pitt Parrots.

Congratulations to all of the teams who competed yesterday and good luck to those competing soon!
